True story: This was to be one of the lines in the Brady Bunch theme song lyrics, but the late producer Sherwood Schwartz changed it to "all of them had hair of gold, like their mother..." RIP, sir; good choice.

I believe the Marcia,three times was a takeoff on comedians Billy DeWolfe [Frosty the Snowman, The Doris Day Show and her movies] and Pat Paulsen.[The Smothers Borthers controverisal comedy show][Cary Grant with the name Judy didn't even actually say that, it was a comic misquote--however someone related to the Brady Bunch, through that lousy caroton, Larry Storch, was the one who quoted Cary Grant saying the name Judy three times.]
