To quicken means to make alive again so I guess "The Quickening" is referring to the resurrection or the quickening of Ramirez. Or it could be referring to the unbreakable bondage between Ramirez and Macleod through the quickening. It's hard to tell what this title was aimed towards. But I liked the movie despite its legendary badness. BTW great review.

I like this movie because it's BAD!!!! It's on my Christmas wish list and will watch it stoned the weekend I get it!!!
