Shiny Chikorita 4/3/10

After 2 weeks and 6 days of soft resetting, a shiny Johto starter is finally mine on Pokemon SoulSilver! As I said in the video, Chikorita came to me while I was watching the show, "What Not to Wear" with my mom. For awhile, I stopped paying attention to the game, and mainly focused on the show. When I looked down, I saw that I had red power; I was going to go upstairs to charge my DS, but laziness got the best of me. After a couple more soft resets, Chikorita shone! I kept saying "...Oh my god" to myself over and over with a smile on my face. Then I ran upstairs to charge my DS.

I was very jealous while soft resetting because CorinthianBaby got a shiny Totodile the very day HG/SS came out. My other brother also got a shiny Totodile on St. Patrick's Day, which was 3 days after HG/SS came out. On top of that, I felt like most people on YouTube already had a shiny starter and were playing the game while I soft resetted.

What's my next shiny target? Lugia. I can't be bother to soft resetting Entei and Raikou at all, it takes too much time and I'm not that dedicated. I may go after them post-E4, who knows.
