Awesome. Nice editing. Love the choice of song. But to clarify, in this world everyone is born genderless, but with female characteristics. At the age of seventeen, through some magical hocus-pocus, the inhabitants of Simulacrum choose their permanent gender, male or female. So, in this world, or in this particular society (there are others who choose their sex through surgery) it's perfectly natural for "chicks" to be attracted to other "chicks" since teenagers don't have many other choices.

I never thought I'd love this anime so much <3 Truly an amazing show.
Funny since I first saw it in an AMV, thought it looked interesting for a yuri anime [never really interested in it], saw it at Best Buy and bought it on a whim because I recognized it, and I'm glad I did. I gotta rewatch the whole thing soon xD

Notes:
1. All humans in Simoun's world are born female. They decided to be permanently male or remain a female for the rest of their lives after they reach the age of 17.
2. Kissing each other before kissing the green crystal on the Simoun (the weird looking aircraft) is how they start it up.
3. *Not* all the kiss scenes in this vid are start-up procedures.
