@datfunk69 "most people on this island are British" Yes apart from the 5 million out of 6 million who aren't. How dare you dictate our nationality to us. Yes your boyfriend may identify with being British because his "ancestors" colonised Ireland 400 years ago, but many of us here have roots in Ulster predating that, and that colonisation didn't change us into British people. Nor does being part of the UK mean we're British. UK = Britain and Northern Ireland, ie. we're not actually in Britain.

@datfunk69 What the feck does "native brits" mean in this context? Secondly - "loyalist rising as it is being dubbed in hamburg"... by who? You? And what is it they're "rising" against? A shared future? Also, wasn't it organised by a paramilitary responsible for the murders of hundreds of civillians? Didn't they target catholic homes and smash them up? Why is it different to the many riots that take place annually in NI? Do you know anything about politics? Answers on a postcard. danke!
