Staples Easy Tech would be great if they paid their easy techs what they deserve then just getting paid minimum wage and having us work the floor too. I'm not complaining just making an Opinion/suggestion. If they just paid us better, it would be better too.

@andreww1212 I feel your pain dude. I was the Resident Tech at a staples until a couple months ago. People at my store threw literally every phone call to my department. Even ones about Staples credit cards. They wanted me to do 10 computers a day, while working the sales floor, the ONLY tech in the department at times. I had to quit. I'm actually with Geek Squad, now. I started off at 3 dollars more an hour, and don;t have to sell any PC's. It's a lot better.

@Spartan536 Haha dude I just got a job at Staples as Easy Tech and you took the words right out of my head. I can't even go behind the bench to answer the phone. Then when I don't answer the phone I still get yelled at. It's ridiculous. Basically with that job, you're damned if you do and damned if you don't. I'm just going to keep it as well for now. Money is money.

I just got a job as Easy Tech as the Backup resident tech, every time I go behind the counter I get yelled at for doing so even though we have 16 computers to do in 5 days and only 1 assigned tech to do em. The management knows about JACK SHIT about computers yet all they do is tell me, less time with the computers more sell sell sell or you get fired. REALLY, I have worked for Geek Squad and Circuit City's Firedog never had this problem. Still its a paying job so im'ma stick with it for now.

I used to work as an Easy Tech at a Staples Store. Got tired of the mistreatment as an Associate by Managers and being bossed around doing the job of 3-4 positions. Geek Squad gets paid $10 an hour i believe.

@ResidentG33k Are you an associate or a Resident/On-Site? If you know what you're doing, the pay gets wayyy better. I just got promoted to On-Site and I can make $20/hr after spiffs.
