hey great video. i have a lacie external drive and a black macbook. how can i tell if the external drive is bootable or not? and if not, shouldnt i be able to back my drive up to it, and simply re-install on the new drive? thanks in advance.

@jdomingo91 Well I only used it for about a week with the stock HD before I stuck this one in, It made very little difference to battery life from memory and it was a little louder but it wasn't offensively loud, Most of the time you wouldn't even notice it.

how's the battery life compared with the other hard disk? the new one it's quiet as the older one? how about the vibrations....

@MrNoNameunknown Thank's for clicking on the video and making me money :)
Thank you so much. One little detail that was bugging me and you help me with it is that little alert that you chose initialize. At first I thought my mac was giving me an error message. I just installed a 500 GB Western Digital into my white macbook. Thanks!!
