Trinity River Adventure Inn's Steel Bridge River Cabins

Trinity River Adventure Inn is a dog-friendly, non-smoking establishment with two river locations and six cabins. Shown here are the four cabins off Steel Bridge Road, located on the river near Douglas City, California (about 50 minutes west of Redding). All are on a spectacular piece of riverfront property. Each cabin is private in its own right, yet all can be rented for a large group, affording complete privacy.

Alpen Glow is a grand A frame with an enormous deck, kitchen and lots of sleeping options, including the River Loft, with the best view from a log bed anywhere (river/mountains/trees/sky!).
The Carriage House is a cozy historic building from the original Vitzum homestead.
Dragonfly is a very cute 1 room cabin that is rented only with the Carriage House.
The Miner's Cabin is an incredible restored miner's cabin that sits by itself in a grove of trees next to the river.
Renting all 4 of these cabins is great for large groups such as family reunions, company retreats and fishing parties.

Spring through fall, kayak on fun, safe Ocean Kayak sit-on-tops. Lessons, rentals and guided trips are available with your hosts, Steph Dutton and Heidi Tiura, as are raft trips. Spring-summer fishing is excellent on the lakes, rivers and streams. Fall-Winter steelhead and salmon fishing are incredible. Your guide can pick you up at your cabin. If you have a boat or raft, you can tie it to the trees in front of your cabin. Fish~Kayak~Raft~Hike~Groove.
