what i basically did here was just had gravity simulated, but i also did moon gravity. but i had to do half of earths, because when i had 1/6 the gravity. the astronaut just jumped off the view.
this is just a basic simulation. but games that do have low gravity the main character always moves down slow. just like on the moon. but i dont think people will just take a game simulation over something real.
What you might try is copying some Apollo videos and running them at different speeds. The jump-salute is a favorite. Speed it up by 2.45X to get the exact speed in earth gravity. Notice that the arms are obviously too fast, and you can look at more of the video to see how ridiculous it is.
What Percy does is speed it up *some*, so the arm movement doesn't look so ridiculous. The up and down movement is too slow, though, and he knows that most viewers won't be able to tell. Real honest guy.
