Evel Knievel Dies at 69 -
Evel Knievel, the hard-living motorcycle daredevil whose jumps over Greyhound buses, live sharks and Idaho's Snake River Canyon made him an international icon in the 1970s, died Friday. He was 69.
According to Knievel's official biography, this Oct 25,1975 leap over 14 buses at Kings Island in Ohio found more than half of all TV viewers tuned and locked in.

houdini was a marvel of his time....and a great showman....no different to evel knievel........but you made the comparison with evel and crusty.....different eras........so what if we make comparison between copperfield or some other top magician against houdini.....houdini would seem old hat....EVOLUTION! and saying one is better than the other is wrong....we learn from those who came before..dont forget them

@PaladinswordSaurfang evolution dopey! no different to silent movies then on to talkies then colour movies and so on......back in the day this was something special....the guys you cream your pants over at this moment in time will prob be ridiculed in 20 or 30 years time...so don't be so blind ..appreciate things for what they are or were...i know you couldn't jump a harley or any of the guys you dribble over..they couldnt jump a harley as far......they don't have the stones to try

@PaladinswordSaurfang you have just shown your ignorance.....knievel was jumping that far on more or less a road bike....no travel in the suspension....lets see any of the big name jumpers today try jumping on a bike that weighed nearly as much as your mother.....it was not designed to jump..unlike your mother! so go back to playing with your sisters clothes

crusty demons is better... and this jump doesn even look that hard, i was arguing with my brother about who's better and more famous out of this guy and harry houdini and i can honestly say this guy sucks ass... he was in the air for like 1 second and he didn't even attempt a superman or anything in the air...
