  • I guess the only way Gatesand Mullen can restore their honor if they had any to begin with is to either shove a pistol in their mouthes or fall on their swords. The removal of the DADT ban does not improve military fighting effectiveness. Instead is degrades good order and discipline and the distractions it causes will lead to unnecessary and easily avoidable combat and peacetime deaths. Thank you mullen head and gates.

  • @ToxicOdiousOne who does? As far as i know, STRAIGHTS have now the most AIDS related cases. hahaha, we are in 2011 not in 1980's. hahaha

  • @MrDetwaa No, he's really supportive about it. It's just he is so serious all the time, i dunnow if u know that lol

  • @ToxicOdiousOne No one would want to see your mosquito bite dick bro. SORRY!

  • @Il00OOll They do it so at least they can please those Repubs. Because they believe that most service members dont like gays in the military or its not the will of American people, right Palin? haha

  • Finally, SHAME on McCain. Im sure he was embarassed by this. Now let's see if openly gays in the military can hurt military effectivesness and order? HmmmMMmmmm.... McCain is so HYPOCRITE and BIGOT! Im sorry, but thats the best word to describe the senator from Arizona. Glad he's not my president, or else America would be doomed.

  • See, what I do not understand here is ummm.. well a couple things. For one, since when is input from subordinates necessary in deciding to change institutional policy?I do not remember employers I worked for ever at meetings asking what employees think about possible changes in policy.Number two, the excuse that there is economic turmoil is irrelevant when regarding equality.I am happy of the mention that DADT conflicts with overall military philosophy of honesty and integrity among personnel.

  • when has personal life come into play in work life, where does it say in any legslation that Im not allowed to love who I want to ? I did not know that the government was allowed to tell you who you could be, hello you are not my mother.

If Im standing out in the great sandbox with people shooting at me Im not looking at the guy to my left or the girl to my right thinking oh no they might be gay, which renders them incapable of doing their job, I think not.

  • When we were passing Civil Rights legislation, did we do a STUDY to see how the whites would respond if blacks were given equal rights? During the suffrage movement, did they do a STUDY to see if men wanted women to have the right to vote? Did Lincoln commission a STUDY to see if people would have a problem with the idea of abolishing slavery? This is BS.

  • mullen looks like he doesn't support the change but is being forced to or something. You can just see it in his stuck up attitude and face.
