I honestly think Sharapova will only get better she's only 24yo. A few more polishing of her serve after that shoulder injury, she'll be back on track. Reaching RG semis and Wimby finals of 2011 wasn't really bad at all. It will be exciting to see her fiercely competing and do better next year.

serena's best against sharapova's best, there's just no comparison, serena just moves better, hits hitter, i mean serena's serve is just a force to be reckon with, i think the only thing sharapova has is she is the best shrieker!

@FlawlessPlayers OMG if anyone else mentions this shoulder injury that happened so long ago. Honestly, that crutch has passed. Sharapova is a good player...not great but good. The shoulder injury can't be used anymore...this chick has consistently made it to the finals and semifinals of several grand slams after the injury...she just keeps losing when it matters.

@Ridogs : The qualifier beat Serena in the Aussie Open easily by moving her around. She is far too heavy now. If they had played in Melbourne Maria would have slaughtered her.

Serena at 2010 Wimbledon had her leg wrapped and she was slightly injured and couldn't run like her usual self. That gave Maria a chance to try to outhit Serena.
