Kara Smith of Karasma Media visited Alaine L. Locke Elementary School-P.S. 208 in Harlem to serve as principal for the day in partnership with PENCIL, and Principal Susan Green talks about how bringing leaders like Kara, into our school helps open kids eyes to opportunities.
PENCIL's President, Michael Haverman, said PENCIL is a non-profit trying to improve public education in New York City and other large cities by engaging the private sector.
Some of the projects she's helped bring to the school: a new logo; an environmental club and a partnership with a green school in Maryland.

This is great that Alain Locke is recognized again - great work Principal Greene! CG Kidz donated the first ever Green Club to the Harlem school... We're so proud of them for continuing on with it!!
