that is a FAT Tosa. Take that dog for a walk. I guarantee if I paid $2000+ for a dog I would have it pulling cars to stay in shape.

This Tosa female is 8 years old in this clip and neutered.

It's a common problem that dogs that are neutered have problems with there weight specially when they get older.

My tosa has also Athrose on her backhand that's why she does not move very fast anymore.

She walks everyday several times and even runs if she can when the legs do not hurt to much.

She eats not much, and is doing well for age she is 10 years at the moment.

Not that bad for a old dog!!

My female has no good bloodline,to many hip problems.Thankfully whe were lucky she didn't get them, but other Tosa owners did.

She is also not the typical type of Tosa , no good expression from the head.

Whe are no breeders and didn't wanted puppies.

So whe neutered her when whe received our male Tosa, so whe wouldn't be suprised with a litter after a while.

Breeding is for breeders that are specialized in the breed is my opinion, specially with the Tosa breed.

They are fantastic dogs true.

Nah i have only 1 Tosa left my female Tosa,the male Tosa died almost three years ago.

At the moment i have the Tosa female and Boerboel male.

But if i could do it over again, i would go back for the Tosa.

I love my Boerboel but it's no Tosa they are my one and only dog match.

I love the Boerboel, very handsome. But I prefer the Tosa breed over any other.

I have two Tosas at the moment, a male, 200 pounds, and a female, 183 pounds. I adore them both! :) And although when people first read this they think "fat dogs", NO.. my dogs are pure muscle, and they pull trucks, not cars. ;) You have gorgeous dogs, no one else can tell you differently.

@tosalover , female dogs would be SPAYED not neutered. The problem of bloating can still be cured with the right exercise.
