Two cubesats developed by university students in Kentucky and California are scheduled for launch March 27 on a Terrier-Improved Malemute suborbital sounding rocket from NASAs Launch Range at the Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia. NASA is flying the cubesats as secondary experiments on the flight which has a main purpose of testing the Improved Malemute rocket motor. Based on the approved range schedule, the rocket is set for launch between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. EDT. The backup launch days are March 28 through April 2. The rocket will be visible to residents in the Wallops area. The web cast for the launch will begin at 9 a.m. The launch status also can followed at: www.twitter.com/NASA_wallops
@TheRocketSilo That looks like it was not a normal flight condition. Balance or airframe problem. I think they are working on a new version of this rocket.
