Taking your snakes away. Last week four species of large snakes were added to the Lacey act, basically shutting down the trade in those four large constrictors. We'll cover what happened and why in this weeks show.

@snip3zboiz I'm sure python dumpers said the same thing you're saying now, until their pythons get too big to safely handle. That's why there are so many people against you owning them. They should never have been brought into this country. You want one that bad? Move to SE Asia. Don't want to move there? Then do without the burms. Find something else to sooth your fragile egos.

@Fleefles My tayra's haven't killed anyone & only act in defense of my family. If they've missed a meal they won't try to eat a human. Neither of these points can be said of pythons. So much for hypocrisy...

I hope you win your battle to keep snakes, I live in the UK so i'm not sure what i could do to help you but it really sucks, i hate it when people meddle in other peoples hobbies or businesses without knowing any of the facts, i'm a huge dog lover and they make it difficult for the ethical breeders to breed etc and people who stick their noses saying what we do is cruel argh! it makes me so angry!!

Hi Snake bytes. i am from Denmark. We in Denmark have also a problem whit the same. our coutry will also have Reptiles banned but in such a case that none of Reptiles is eligal to have in Denmark. ps love my Taiwan Ratsnake Orthriophis taeniurus friesei. (sorry my bad english)

This suks! I am retiring from the military after 20 yrs this year and now have to worry about retiring. I was going to go back home but now I am thinking about staying here because I would have to get rid of 1 of my girls.....Its not fair to her that I can go but not her...
