It Miek---Desmond Dekker---rare version--unreleased acetate

Coventry 1999, a team of crack session musicians get the call to arms from Trojan records....Adidas need to use some Desmond Dekker tracks for their adverts, there is a problem with the cost of license, it is more cost effective and less hassle to hire the boys and Desmond to recreate and re-record the original tracks.
We piled down on the train, drank a few bottles of gold label and we were off!!
There are no backing vocals or brass on these raw recordings, just the live band and lead vocals from Desmond.
Four songs were recorded, the master tapes are long gone....but a couple of the tracks survive on a one off 12" acetate....here is the classic 'It Miek' originally released in 1969.
