I've followed this channel for a while, but this really seems like an Apple commercial, i don't see why you couldn't include android and windows phone apps(are there any?).

I understand how it may seem, but at present this is the most viable platform for realtime music apps. If the others become more prevalent, then we may consider investing in the hardware are covering it.

Oh and, forgot to mention.. It wasn't fiddley at all. In fact, I was able to play very casually and all it took is some non-intensive tweaking of the treshold. I was able to slide, bend, and again, play casually. Got largely accurate and quick response from most samples, but it really did depend on the sample. Some being more dependent on threshold tweaking than others.. Though I only experienced that with the guitar/mandolin/tampura/ukulel­e samples. The rest were easy, especially the strings!

I wonder if Gaz has gotten himself an iRig? I have myself one, and then I realised.. THUMBJAM! --Yes, I plugged my guitar right into my iPod Touch and using the Audio to MIDI feature on ThumbJam, I was able to control each instrument with alot of ease and no excessive latency issues, very low. I think the key is having Apps have the same Audio to MIDI capabilities as ThumbJam has, it's far faster than these options, especially in my experience. You guys should give it a go next ep, only £20.
