@28amae No, she isn't. She stated on twitter, "I'm not that religious, but I'm very spiritual." Saying that is essentially saying you find your own spirituality/own way to God and heaven. Christianity built on Jesus alone as the way to heaven. That's why she shouldn't sing a song about being overcome with the glory of Jesus. It devalues it a bit.

To all the people saying that Demi ruined this song because she isn't a "true Christian," you have no right to say that. You don't know Demi enough to judge her like that. She is allowed to sing to her God if she wants to. If you don't like this version, don't listen to it. She is inspired to sing this song and wants to inspire others to imagine God's glory surrounding them. That's not a bad thing.
