Mark Buehrle pitched dominantly (6 1/2 innings, 3 hits, 1 ER, 5 Ks) in a winning effort against the Twinkies. Off of a rare two-error play by Michael Cuddyer (hit by Chris Getz), Paul Konerko was able to score the tying run (homerun by Delmon Young). Jim Thome hit HR number 543 after almost getting robbed by Joe Crede in what could've been play of the year. Brent Lillibridge came into the game after Getz was hit by a pitch and eventually led into a shallow sac fly from Carlos Quentin (showing the Sox have some speed back). Jermaine Dye hit number 299 off the first pitch from closer Joe Nathan. In the top of the ninth, Bobby Jenks came in with the bases loaded, striking out Joe Crede and then getting Delmon Young to hit into a game ending double play.
Final score: 6-1
P.S. i also enjoyed crede's slide into the tarp that you got and i also have seen this video on here for months, but never watched it! what a shame on my part haha

Although I miss Crede, I think the Sox have a good look for the future.
If you liked this one, you should check out my other ones (favorites being the Cubs/ Sox game and the Sox/ Twins tiebreaker game).
Go Sox!

I don't think it was very dumb. I like the idea that the Sox are looking for more speed. I don't agree with the Jones and Vizquel signings though... The Sox were getting rid of the old and slow players by signing two old guys... makes no sense. I'm REALLY gonna miss Getz though...

leeman,
this is a really good video. without a doubt this is the best tape from someone in the stands at a game that i've seen film themselves on youtube.
thome's home run was the best, it was actually like the way its filmed on tv!
