  • what system is it running off? IR sensor.. or is there something like a breakbeam so when the mirror crosses it fires. 06 USFIRST bots could run off a IR sensor, and when a green light turned on the bots could be designed to fire balls into the target by the IR targeting sensor

  • the tank is controlled wirelessly via a computer. there is a video camera mounted on the barrel that the controller can see on the computer screen (just like a first person shooter) and you use keyboard commands to move it around and fire. it also has 5 ir sensors mounted on the sides and back to avoid obstacles that override the controllers commands. so to answer your question my teammate is about 20 feet away controlling the tank on a remote computer...

  • @haters57 their not nerds if they build something cool

  • thats awesome

  • Nerds

  • how much would u sell that for i want 2 buy it

  • im gonna make one it wont be as good as this but

  • actually its better than nothing especially when human instinct tells u to raise ur arms

  • nice

  • lewis i don't mean to sound rude but your "wall" theory doesn't sound very effective

  • because some ppl play that guns don't count as hits.. its in some larger competitions and in a few magazines. If you get 3 or more guys in a low bunker with hoppers sideways it is a wall that helps protect you. and I assume that is why they have theirs turned...

  • you should make one for me with tracks on it so it can handle rough terrain..i would definantly use one of those
