Charlyne Yi shaves her head on stage at UCB - May 14 2010

She sat down with her hair down around her shoulders. Took her glasses off. The band kicked off "Nothing Compares to You" and she started singing her heart out.

Then, while our mouths gaped open, her friends (and dad) came up on stage and hacked all her hair off, shaving it down to nothing.

It was a really powerful performance, and one that no one in that room will ever forget. This girl will do anything for her art.
