Nick J Story - the life that leads a mistake... Ch. 38

Alex stood there shocked. She hated her step mother from the moment her father asked her to marry him. Alex knew that from the start she was just using him for his money, and waited for him to die to inherit it all. She tried to control Alex, and acted completely different around her father. Once her father died, The day that she was told that she would have to raise her, was the worst day of her life.
Alex: what the hell are you doing here?
Mother: what do you mean Im your mother, cant I see my daughter?
Alex: youre daughter? Wheres your daughter I dont see her anywhere. NEWSFLASH: IM NOT YOUR DAUGHTER, AND YOU, YOURE NOT MY MOTHER THEREFORE, YOU CANT SEE ME.
Mother: dont be silly, it says on the papers, youre my daughter.
Alex: oh alright, that sounds legal enough, you didnt have me. Now did you?
Mother: speaking of that, when do you have youre little mini rock star of yours.
Alex; thats not funny, and thats non of your business.
Mother: oh yeah? Well looks like your all alone, and heavy lifting, youre boyfriend leave you to tour. AGAIN?
Alex: shut up.
Mother: dont you dare tell me to shut up young lady.
Alex: what are you gonna do kill me like you killed my father?
Her mother was shocked.
Mother: I did not kill youre father.
Alex: oh please, you never cared about him a day in your life. You and I both know you were just using him for the money.
Mother: dont be so ignorant, I cared about your father. It was terrible to see him die.
Alex: youre pathetic.
Mother: yet, youre pregnant. Whos really the pathetic one?
Suddenly car headlights were seen coming down the street
Her mother soon grabbed her and forced down the sidewalk, causing her feet to drag behind her.
Alex: WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING
Mother: TAKE A WILD GUESS she soon covered her mouth.
Alex tried to scream, but the sound was blocked by her mothers hands, she soon tried kicking her and squirming her way out of her arms, considering Alexs size, she failed to squirm away from her.
Her mother soon dragged her into her car.
Alex: where the hell are you taking me.
Mother: back to where you belong.
Alex was terrified, she wanted nick immediately, yet she had no way of contacting him.
Her mother soon pulled up to their old house.
Alex: why are we here she said with attitude.
Mother: just shut up and come inside.
Alex: im not going inside.
Mother: yes you are.
Alex: no Im not, she said getting ready to unlock her seatbelt, and run.
The last place Alex wanted to go was her old house, her old house had nice grey house, with a rocky path that led up to a soft yellow door. Her old house was filled with amazing memories, until her mother suddenly died and her father soon hit it off with another women, which happened to be the bitch that was sitting next to her at this very moment. About a year later we moved out.
Alex opened the door and was about to run, her mother grabbed her before she got away and pulled her up the path and inside of the house, leaving red hand marks on her skin.
{back with nick}
Nick drove into the driveway, and walked into the house.
Nick: hey guys.
Joe: hey bro
Nick: whats up?
Joe: Just watching a movie
Nick looked around the room.
Nick: wheres alex?
Joe: she went to take out the garbage?
Nick: the garbage?
Joe: yeah
Nick: are you sure?
Joe: yeah
Nick: I was just outside, I didnt see her anywhere.
Joe: maybe you just missed her.
Nick: missed her? Joe, shes kinda hard to miss.
Joe: dude, sorry. Try her room.
Nick bolted it up the stairs, and swung her door open. She wasnt there.
Nick: JOEEEEEEE
Joe: shit.
Amanda came out of the bathroom.
Amanda: joe, whats wrong?
Joe: alex went to take the garbage out right?
Amanda: yeahh.. why?
Joe: did she come back in?
Amanda: I never noticed.
Joe: crap.
Amanda: SHES NOT OUTSIDE?
Joe: NO!
Amanda: WHAT
Nick ran back downstairs.
Nick: shes not there either!
Joe : where would she be
Nick: im gonna try her cell
Nick ran over to the telephone and dialed her number.
Alex's ringtone blared on the kitchen table, as it caught everyones attention.
