maybe try to have your hair longer. Check out Aaron Marino's self cut video. And use scissors on the top.

Actually, you remind me of myself at 14 years old when I would cut my own hair with my new wahl clippers, in my bathroom, with the shower going so my parents wouldn't hear the sound. You do a great job, but you might want to go SHORTER, like 3/8 inch which is 9.6 centimeters
