Virtual Hikers are neogeography media algorithms that allow a computer to pre-hike the landscape, looking for the best way (or sometimes just other interesting ways) to hike it. The results are exported as a global positioning system tracklog file that can be uploaded to a GPS device, which can then lead the real hiker through the actual landscape based on GIS data processed by custom, DIY artist made software. (The C5 Landscape Database. Virtual Hikers were first developed by C5, www.c5corp.com, for "The Other Path" project.) These tests are a paintersflat.net experiment. (Brett Stalbaum and Paula Poole.) Moonlight Canyon and Inner Pasture are in the Anza Borrego State Park, a California State Park.
Still *the best* sun protection head wear technology ever invented. I use them a lot. This video was shot ~ 30K from the Mexico/California border...
