  • Why in the hell did you cut the songs off? That's so anti-climatic.

  • I literally ran out of footage.

  • i think you picked the wrong song for an ode to LA this song is about RCHP lead singer doing heroine and almost dying

  • IN LOS ANGELES. The city of angeles doesn't refer to heroine.

  • @PentaGonPictures uh hate to burst your bubble but he's right. This song's about heroine addiction. The local rock station around here made that clear about a year ago and it's all about lyric interpretation to understand that. Plus the lead singer gave an interview and explained that in the interview.

  • @MrPeaceman420 The "city of angels" is about LA, the content of the song is, sadly about the darker side. But I didn't feel the need to tell that emotional journey. I had another point of view to share.

  • ode??? I don't understand what that is?

  • @PentaGonPictures Quite the oposite. Anthony Kiedis first wrote this as a poem about his heroine addiction. 'The city of angels' refers to his city which is los angeles. He loves the city and feels a strong bond with it. 'the bridge downtown' is a place where he often did drugs. This is very personal to him and was only made into a song because producer Rick Rubin implored him to. This song is probably one of the most meaningful songs ever written, thank you Anthony. RHCP for life.
