A classic banjo tune from 1882 played on resonator guitar. Learned from sheet music.
I had Halloween in mind. It's theme music for running away from a ghost with a flaming pumpkin head, something along those lines.

It's a great little composition. What's crazy about it is the way that the harmony dips into both blues and classical. I hear Paganini *and* Rev. Gary Davis.
Also, it's clearly using ragtime rhythms, more than 10 years before the official birth in 1893.
Weston was a really sophisticated musician both harmonically and rhythmically.
