Killzone 3 (Demo) Dazzle DVD Recorder Plus (DVC 100 Red Box) S-Video vs Composite

I'm playing Killzone 3 (Demo) using the Dazzle DVD Recorder Plus (DVC 100 Red Box) for a quality test of the program. In this video I do a comparison between the S-Video mode and the Composite mode.

Export settings were regular for YouTube settings under the Sony Vegas 6 program. There are endless videos out there, I just wanted to show you the color stuff.

I must admit, for $50 this isn't bad, if you have the coords, you won't need much more. EasyCAP is cheaper, but i hear that the audio is off. I say, use AUDACITY to catch the audio straight from the AV source w/ a av adapter.

Anyway, I didn't buy this for gaming. I have some family videos I needed to convert. Then I got curious. End Result is this video, lol. Enjoy!

Quick Answers with out the Questions lol:
*Dazzle DVD Recorder is DVC 100 and is the $50 Red Box w/ White Hardware
* XP computer
* Netbook can do it, I tried it there too! Netbook runs windows 7 something.
* Netbook did not use Pinnacle/Dazzle programs, I used VLC & some random NCH software (i love NCH)
* Sony Vegas 6 w/ SD Quality or Highest Quality I know how via YouTube Tutorial. YT search " Sony Vegas 6 High Quality for YouTube" or "Vegas 6 for YouTube"
* The RED BOX comes w/ 2 MAIN softwares, everyone says use the STUDIO program (version 12) I used the INSTANT DVD program because STUDIO lagged when recording and you could not blow up the screen. INSTANT DVD allows you to MAXIMIZE your screen while play and did not LAG on my machine.


Further information or better settings, I give the nod to youtube user "ExPLiCiTMODS" to me, he has the best HD settings I think that I've seen via DVC 100. But he is using the WHITE/SILVER box i believe. Thats the $80-90 version. He also uses a WAY BETTER SONY VEGAS TOO :) But as you can see... this aint bad.

Subscribe him. I know about color correction bc i have my own vids, but the export settings he have is the reason why you should sub/watch & comment him.

looks nice but u should test on confrontation. see if u can see the names at the top left and see who u are killing :) but it looks nice here. what is th difference between the white & red dvc 100's?

@LogicProductionZz no doubt. on the raw file, my text is crisp. I will try on S:C asap for you. But its my version of Sony Vegas... its so old. But I'll do a small video for upload on the highest possible settings i can think of.

I seriously think that White Box records the video at a higher quality. Everyone that have the platinum video uploaded (+ better Vegas program) usually have better quality videos (render settings) I'm sure of it. Did u try the tutorial in the description?
