I will never forget 2006. It was a year METS fans will never forget. So what if we didn't make it in 06 and 07. 2008 IS OUR YEAR BABY!!!!! NEXT YEAR!!!!!!! GO METS!!!

@Charizard889 . I was in 6th grade at the time also. I remember I had to go to bed right after "the catch" because I had school the next day. I woke up to hear that they lost. Then I vowed to always make sure I see the end of my teams seasons no matter the circumstance. I will always love the mets forever.

Mets are a team that I think are different from the teams in there division they have a lot of tools some teams dont. Also when a team is hungry for a Championship like the Mets are and the kind of players they have they can do a lot of damage and surprise a lot of people of what they can do this year.

@atturgalsemaj No he didn't Omar and the Wilpons ruined the team. After 06 they started letting important guys go and signing old losers like Moises Alou who couldn't even stay healthy.

Totaly agree. So many more seats could have been added if they didnt have the acela club in left field. And the delta club is so expensive that no one ever sits there so it looks empty on TV. The stadium is in no way Mets oriented. They have more brooklyn dodgers stuff around the pak then mets stuff. Alot of flaws in the home of the new york mets. RIP SHEA

Citi is beautiful....ive been there 4 times....but never will it replace shea stadium....to many memories that i will never forget. Shea stadium i my mind is still the home of the new york mets
