This video is not intended to be anything other than for your enjoyment. Call it eye candy ! :D

First thing first.... Check out Miss Lana's channel:

http://www.youtube.com/user/lanaindiana

She is one of the very best on YouTube. I am sure almost all of you already follow her channel...but if you are new to YouTube or you are looking for great YouTubers, you simply must check her out :D

This video chronicles my trip to Rodeo Drive the other day. I love going on Tuesday or Wednesday afternoons, but this video was shot on a Saturday afternoon (yuck).

Tell me your favorite shape, color, etc. of diamonds! I would love to know. Since a young child, I was always a rock collector. Growing up in the Midwest, I came across many interesting rocks, which sparked my interest in gems and minerals. :D Just wanted to share a bit of this with you. If someone would be willing to do a similar video, I would really love that!! Attach it to this video :D

Share/forward this video with a friend or family member who loves diamonds! ! They will appreciate you for it :D And so will I :D

Sincerely,

Michael

  • Ahh, I've subbed to you and Lana for a while and never knew you guys e-knew each other or that your paths would cross. But I've thought for a while now that you two are so wonderful and compatible with so many similar qualities,...it's easy to see the two of you getting along quite well. Glad you mentioned her, and glad I e-know the two of you. You both are so helpful, friendly, knowledgeable,...not to mention, love the witty commentaries. I've learned much from you both. Many thanks!

  • @Merrida100 That is such a sweet and amazing comment! Thank you so much. Yes, Lana and I chat regularly. I actually "e-know" hehe about 20 other video makers and we keep in regular contact. It makes for a more fun community :) -Michael

  • I Love this video. Thank you so much for posting. I am a man who loves jewelry. I don't wear it but i love to look at it.

  • Michael! This is Ryantee82 from FB, btw. I like the flower brooches, too. Love the huge yellow emerald-cut diamond, and the huge cushion cut in the Harry Winston window! You sound like you're pretty into this, like you've read up on it.

The the pink and yellow diamond bracelet at 5:08 is great. If the owner has a problem with people photographing his front windows he should take the jewelry out of them because everyone has a digital camera now...

  • Seeing this reminded me of the extreme wealth in this world and the extreme poverty. Its just crazy how people have these gorgeous diamonds and $500,000 cars and then there is people so sadly poor with extreme famines going on, like the one in currently going on in Africa. I'm not judging anyone, just making an observation (trust me I love fast cars and diamonds as much as the next girl)...

  • That bumper sticker was hilarious. It is good when people can laugh at themselves.

  • the yellow diamond ring is spectacular....

  • I would love to know what you do for work. :)

  • It is always nice to share a passion, so thanks for posting this interesting video. What about blue diamonds, are there any to be seen on Rodeo Drive? My own greatest excitment looking at diamonds happened lately in Bond Str in London, looking at a multi-million $ blue diamond ring in Laurence Graff's show window...
