Here's a surprising, delicious and healthy alternative to cooked rice - featuring raw beetroot, the sweet, cool, earthy flavour makes a great accompaniment to spicy curry.
Beetroot is a 'superfood' - crammed with antioxidants - and it looks stunning on the plate.

Thanks for your comment - it's not a very typical plate at all, I'd say - although it worked really well. Yoghurt is often served alongside curry in the form of raita (spiced and mixed with chopped cucumber or other vegetables) - I just threw the grapes on there as hasty garnish - mainly because I thought it would look good with some green on it. As it turned out, it was a delicious combination, but not a typical plate for the UK - if there is such a thing

Hello Atomic, great video and you were straight to the point with a pleasant voice and instruction. I have a few questions if you wouldn't mind. I'm from the Southern United States, Louisiana, specifically. Is everything on your plate typical in your geographical cuisine? This is just to fulfill my curiosity and in no way do i disagree with what is featured on your plate.
Many places I have eaten do not apply yogurt and grapes on a dinner plate, nor do we commonly eat curry chicken.
