Many people scoff at my sentiments, but this song tells a story - a story that continues even in 2007.   • I am aware that the story, however "cutesy" in nature, is based in fact. To me, that's what gives the song its charm and nostalgia :)

  • in the ww1 they did slebrate x-mas.i know in (i think)the french border the troops ,that were enemies on other days,played soccer, drank champeign, and gave gifts of wat ever they could.;)
