I sincerely believe "The Awakening" to be one of the most unfairly underated horror movies of the seventies.Genuinely gripping and suspensful, its far and away superior to the shallow,dumbed-down computer generated tripe served up on our screens nowadays.I would be eternally gratful to anyone who could download the entire movie onto You tube.

Like this film! It come from Bram Stoker novel: "The jewell of the seven star".
This 'remake' of "Blood From the Mummy's Tomb" (both adapted from Stoker's "Jewell of the Seven Stars) is underated (without a doubt), and I wonder why nobody has posted more of the movie here. Thanks for putting this up (it took me long enough to find it!). I love this film, and I can get a copy of the DVD on amazon for $50+ (such a deal!). I guess it's one of the rare ones.

@rictheis You are right. This movie is very good but somehow it is underrated. I wish I could upload the whole movie here but my account would definately be suspended by YouTube. Anyway, thanks for your comment.

The cinematography is by the same cinematographer who did the Oscar-nominated color cinematography for "The Red Shoes" (1948).
