Female Possession (The Awakening)

Gorgeous daughter is possessed by an ancient evil Egyptian queen.

Ending of the movie "The Awakening". Archaeologist Matthew Corbeck (Charlton Heston) and his daughter Anne Corbeck (Stephanie Zimbnalist) are obsessed by an evil ancient Egyptian queen, Kara. They have tried to free Kara's soul from her mummy located at the British Museum and they succeed. However, Kara's soul possesses Anne's body.

P.S. Stephanie Zimbnalist is so gorgeous in this movie especially in the last scene as she is wearing an Egyptian cloth with the makeup.

This 'remake' of "Blood From the Mummy's Tomb" (both adapted from Stoker's "Jewell of the Seven Stars) is underated (without a doubt), and I wonder why nobody has posted more of the movie here. Thanks for putting this up (it took me long enough to find it!). I love this film, and I can get a copy of the DVD on amazon for $50+ (such a deal!). I guess it's one of the rare ones.

I sincerely believe "The Awakening" to be one of the most unfairly underated horror movies of the seventies.Genuinely gripping and suspensful,its far and away superior to the shallow,dumbed-down computer generated tripe served up on our screens nowadays.I would be eternally gratful to anyone who could download the entire movie onto You tube.

I remember watching this movie with my dad when I was a little girl. I never forgot it. Wow!!! I can't believe I found this little skit of it. Whomever put this up here should have put the rest of it up here. This is a classic.
