  • hey just change the centre control to blue leds but the heater controls light is barely showing up is there a fix for this?

  • @bradygooner49 Please see the other comment you've made on the video. I replied on that one!

    Cheers! :)

  • Hey there just done mine but the light from the heater controls etc is really dim is there some form of fix for this cheers

  • @bradygooner49 Hello! Unfortunately that is a bulb brand problem. Happened to me, too. The bulbs are not that powerful and the light they produce is not intense enough. The only thing I can recommend is to buy another brand of bulbs, more intense. (The cars works on 1,3W bulbs and 1,5W bulbs, although the 1,3W is preferred)

Also, check if your interior & hud light adaptor (under the light switch) is turned all the way to the maximum (although I think you already tried that)...

    Good luck!!!

  • @bradygooner49 EDIT: be very gentle if you're sanding the end of LED's, you can easily break em

  • @bradygooner49 Check Astra forums aswell to see what they've done. The dull LED and patchy glow seems fairly common. Some have used a fine grain sandpaper on the end of the LED's to produce a brighter light and a more even glow.

Good job TigerGTS, well lit with a nice even glow. Hopefully mine goes that well.

  • well not realy a tutorial but it could help a bit

  • First of all congrats for the car! About the adaptors I am sorry but I can't help you for now, because I don't know any specifics. I bought them from a shop where they also install interior lights, but they wanted too much money for the installation so I just bought the bulbs & adaptors and installed them myself. I will however ask a friend who works at an Opel dealer to tell me some details and I will inform you. Please send me a private message so I can contact you by mail. Have a nice weekend

  • @BlackTigerGTS : could u ( if this is not ig problem for u ) made video of how to instal those adaptors , what kind of adaptors ( step by step ) PLS :) i'll be grateful :)

btw take ur time cuz i'm just on my way to buy Astra g caravan SOON

    Cheers

  • @1984DaaBuu: Yes, they're all the same. But keep in mind you need some adaptors for the ones in the "hud" - speed, rpm, fuel & temperature indicators. (4 adaptors if I well remember)... Cheers!
