Minute 50:43 of the Work Session (~)

BC: Just, uh..just before we go back out. Im going to go back to transfer of funds No 3. That was also the one that was inaction with regards to the transfer of funds..and I just want to verify a couple of things with regard to to the transfer of funds.I just have to be sure about what effect if any this has on certainof the requests specifically uhh if the transfer from street lighting to signage..will that jeopardize street maintenance uhh sign maintenance and stuff..
PH: The transfer
BC: Yeah
JG: It adds to sign maintenance
PH: Whenever ( ?? ) or I put in a transfer uhh request were out of money in that account, so we cant buy anything in that account unless the account has a balance, and then..
BC: If the transfer doesnt go through does that mean that the new Fire department volunteers wont have uhh wont get the bunker safety gear that the Chief requested ?
JG: Well, were actually..ahh
BC: He specifically requested this transfer for the new bunker gear for the new volunteers. Does this mean that if this transfer does not go through, he doesnt have money for that new safety bunker gear?
JG: The uhh Thats correct
BC: OK. And also the LOSAP is not funded uhh through uhh this transfer. What exactly does that mean ?
JG: Well they could .. they could cancel thepolicy for non-payment.
BC: Now at this time Im gonna re-issue my uhh ask for a motion with regards to a .. well. Before I do that does anybody have any specific questions that ave not yet been answered on any of those transfer requests ?
DP: Gentlemen, on the second page it talks about the $319,000.00
JG: Correct
DP: What is that stuff ? What is that from ? What is that all about ?
JG: Thats ahh .. a interfund temporary transfer. It has the word temporary on there ..
DP: Right
JG: Thats money from the General Fund going to the Capital Fund to pay uhh bills for the uhh highway project. The three bills that came in uhh during the month of November and uhh we spoke about ..of course everybody knows the bond money is expired uhh and what were doing is before the projects closed out were uhh doing a uhh
BH: (___) ? the term expired .. fully utilized, right ?
JG: Yes, so the money is being used from the General Fund, and when the projects closed out were reimbursing the General Fund.
BC: Any other questions ? OK, Im gonna remake my motion fo uhh
BH: Actually ..
BC: Oh sorry, Ill ..
BH: I move to make the transfers ( ___ ) communications ( ___ ) with the one delection on ( ___ )
BC: And I'll second that motion. Uhh all in favor ?
BH: Aye
