  • I just posted, on youtube, the boston common performing their first set of the 1980 International Championship. Their second and third set, which includes this song, will follow in the weeks to come.

    Jamie Carbone

  • Boston Common has such great sound and blend!

    It's great to see this!

    Check out Bob Dowma! 2:33

He stands behind me in the chorus I sing with!

  • Im addicted to this kinda music.

  • How heartwarming! :-)

  • 3:18 - I can't believe that's Joe!

Several years ago I was in the music store, and in the cassette bin I happened upon theSPEBSQSA top groups from 1969 and another from 1970. A classical and jazz buff, I thought what the heck, let's hear how the best sound. I liked it a lot, especially Mark IV. The funny thing, I played it for my 7-year old daughter a few days ago. When I was at work, she asked my wife if she could hear "that beautiful music that daddy played." She adores "Are you from Dixie."

  • Thank you! My favoroite quartet was the Buffalo Bills, but after hearing these guys I'm not so sure anymore :o

  • The quartet singing is one of the greatest ever, " Boston Common" they are around 2:50.....

  • Which group is singing this song? It's THAT quartet I'm interested! :)

  • How grateful I am to the men who created this amazing style of music! Man I love to hear that old barbershop style! :P Too corny?
