  • One of the greatest guitar solos ever done by Geaorge Benson! Iremember hearing this inTrenton NJ when it came out. I think they played it on Trenton State radio. I was mesmerized by this ! That was back in '77 ! I'd love to see a video of GB's soloin

    at the end.

  • @phase901 great solo yes, but his solo on California Dreaming is AWESOOOME

  • U welcome Buddy. Love this version too, among other versions like Quincys, that i really appreciate.

  • a masterpiece, maybe even better than the original ...

  • How funny that there are no youtube vandals with their swearing etc next to the tracks like this. Divine job enjoys divine protection ;)

  • One of the first jazz albums I bought as a young lady back in the day...thank you for this memory.

  • 0:48-0:49 I was reborn. Hot shit. They dont make em like this any more =-(

  • An allstar cast on Harveys album. Reminds me of my dear departed friend Raymond Jones coming to my house with his mac and interface boxes to lay some drum tracks right over tunes then take them home and mix.PRICELESS.

  • Brings back so many memories...all star ensemble of musicians! thanks for posting!

  • Bad 2 the bone. I was 16 living in Saginaw Mi.

  • So wonderful!

  • Man, I forgot Harvey Mason did solo studio albums. It featured the artists he played alongside on George Benson's "Breezin'". Add Bob James, Dave Grusin, Verdine White, Lee Ritenour, Tom Scott, David T. Walker, Victor Fieldman, Louis Johnson, Steve Forman and the Tower Of Power Horns into the mix and you've got one BAD kickass Album.

  • George and Harvey, most brilliant time.

  • This reminds me of the GREAT Robbie Vincent radio show on Radio London, and he made the comment I still remember today.. "What on Earth are Arista records doing putting this track on the B side of the single? It is so classy, it could put a jazz-funk record at No.1for the first time ever! It should be the A side!"

What a gorgeous piece of musiciabship this is!

  • @phase901 A fabulous Marvin Gaye song performed by some of the best performers.
