Man, I always do a little double-take when I see a European playing timpani cuz they usually arrange them lowest on the right, but in America I learned to put the low drum on the left. I'm sure it doesn't make the slightest bit of difference musically, it just throws me off. Great solo, btw! It's great to see a young percussionist who plays with confidence.
