My Grandfather fought at that battle on the Greek side.

I also read where he wrote after he fought the 2ed battle of Inonu "we are preparing for a grand scale attack in a letter of April 21 1921. I was wondering which battle he was talking about so I did some reaserch and found that there was a battle between June & July 1921 the battle of Aifyon-Eskihir or "Dorylaion"

Yeah, however I dont know how the hell he managed to get all the way back to the coast of Izmir (smyrna) in 1922. all the post cards were from March, April & 15th July 1922 where on this date  he sent a letter and picture from Afyion Karahissar. Pretty wierd thinking what hell it must have been.
