Oh I get it. Steve Lawrence was suppose to be a poor man's Gene Wilder. All this needed was Richard Pryor, Scatman Crothers and Patrick McGoohan in a helicopter. Who was the redhead playing the Jill Clayburgh role?

At 5:01, the engineer reminds me of Slim Pickens riding the bomb.

Yes Slim Pickens.. I'm sure that was intentional. And what about Poseidon Adventure? The short version, at the end? It seemed to play out a narrative arc w/o needing subsequent detail

I think that was the only time the train was to ever hit that speed. The maximum speed in the series was 150mph.
