this is my idea of a world championship MTL band - not freaking Arcade Fire and whatnot. Sonny is a supremely confident phraser in this funky mode. i would insist someone absorb Mr Greenwich's inspirational playing before making any assessment of what we've done for the jazz lexicon up here. MTL of course has contributed prior. And a thought for Leo Perron and that btiing alto man Maurice MAYER - like Scotiaman Stu SPEED Goree this was a CDN monster
