  • "that's retarded" is not a sensitive

  • Isn't it a bad thing to be hurt by silly insults? Also, I don't see how it would necessarily mean he has a lot of empathy. E.g. children are often vulnerable without having learnt to empathise.

But yeah, obviously people who complain of others being 'sensitive'/don't take it seriously are just wankers.

  • and i agree as i've learned more about psychology and i've been fixing myself up and recovering from scars of my past i've become far more sensitive. and i see scars of my friends all the time when they say things like "are you one of those sensitive types that loves children to death? i would so hit my kids".

  • thank you for this vid aaron. certainly something i've thought about. i find myself picking and choosing often, being very sensitive on some things but other things like when i insult friends or my bf i'll often respond by laughing and saying "why are you so damn sensitive, sheesh" or "i don't understand why people take me so seriously". part of me still thinks people are way too sensitive about certain things. but part of me also sees myself as being an ass and defending my attacks.

  • Nice video. I think there's a healthy extent to being sensitive, as well as being not sensitive enough. Everyone is sensitive in some capacity, which is probably where all the political correctness is coming from these days. You can't always cater to everyone's emotions, but you can do it to the best of your ability (not everyone finds this easy). The "insensitive" may call others "sensitive" and vice versa, but that's only because they're looking at it in proportion to their own sensitivities.

  • yes but im not emo in that im overly emotional or that i cut myself and also i don't cry much but im more sensitive 2 people's feelings and such some people just are and that's a gift rather than an impairment since in fact women like sensitivty in men in serious relationships :)

  • my older brother thinks my penis is broken or there is something wrong with it b/c i always get boners from hot guys and not girls...
