  • I think possibly some have dwarfed the freedom ship

i went on freedom everything if so much better now

  • Genesis (Oasis) is a new concept of the ship. With more fun for passengers.

  • need to put rollercoaster, needs to be a Green Ship, need a farmer's market, organic foods, need classes and seminars how to cook, how to sail, how to snorket and swim, how to identify plants and animals

  • It is a almost Green Ship. Nothing will be discharg to the Sea. Onboard you can have seminars and classes. There will be diving equipment and divers on board. Also will be small park.

  • ho know what contry this ship do

  • And i work onboard at Turku shipyard atm :) seatrial comin June

  • give them 50 more years from now and the Titanic would probably be only big enough to be as a mere lifeboat compared to the monsters of the future.

  • The Titanic was the largest ship of its time, but there are far larger ships today. The Titanic sank in 1912 on its maiden voyage.

As you can look up easily on Wikipedia, the Titanic had over 46000 gross register tonnes, while the Genesis will have over 220000 gross register tonnes, which is about 5 times larger. The biggest ship in existence to my knowledge is the Knock Nevis (260000 grt), which is decomissioned. Look up these on Wikipedia: RMS Titanic, Genesis Class, Knock Nevis

  • wasn't the Titanic the ;argest one before it sank? and did it sink yet?

  • Ship is in Turku shipyard. When launched in late 2009, the Oasis of the Seas will be the largest cruise ship in the world, with 16 decks and 2,700 staterooms, and coming in at 220,000 gross registered tons with capacity for 5,400 guests. It will homeport at Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale.
