Pran Nath was also my grandfather. Never met him before but I'm glad to see that people still enjoy his music today.
And yes, he was an Afghan Hindu.

wonderful intonation... I saw Pandit Pran Nath in 1984... a raga that was about 3 hours long- an afternoon well spent
