Twin Bridges Nightmare

In their infinite wisdom, the Kentucky Highway Transportation Dept. decided that since they had to do work on the northbound twin bridge between Henderson, KY and Evansville, IN that they could just have one lane of northbound traffic go over the bridge as it was repaired, and shoehorn another lane of northbound traffic onto the 2 lane wide southbound bridge while keeping both southbound lanes open. The result is what you'll see in this video I shot as I drove north over the southbound bridge. and yes, the cars and trucks you'll see go by really are THAT close. (sorry for some shaky camerawork, btw)

I dont understand??? I live right by these bridges. What are you showing the world? Thats how they do it everywhere. when you work on one they have to shut it down. Plus the video is horrible you cant even see traffic much. Less sky more traffic. Should have had a passenger do it for you.
