There songs make me sad. They remind me of the times my brother was here and times of being a child and not caring about wat happened in life.

uh, i can't even listen to this. Such a great time in my life listening to this album from start to finish, almost every day! Such a weird feeling of nostalgia. This album was genius and I miss it terribly.

That was awesome, didn't see the roses coming..

@langanman idk, thom yorke pulled off electro drums live in epic fashion on his solo tour. the beck percussionists played all the percussion and samples. flea on bass, nigel on keys. it was one of the best sounding shows i've been to
-
its nice to see jenny lewis at least somewhat sober playing live
-
Epic wanding jenny.

wow
i love the postal service to pieces but this was a terrible performance.....
I was able to learn how to program these kind of beats in a matter of hours.
It's really easy actually. Nowhere near as hard as playing the drums, which i can't do.
apathiest is right, anyone with a general knowledge of music theory can use a drum machine and make something that sounds good.
But having a live drummer for an electronica band would be terrible. :-0

@ aPaThEiSt he has a drum machine because he wanted an electronica band. Did you know Ben plays the drums? I know he isn't the one making the beats but it does take skill to program it. I play drum and I have an akai lpd8, which is a pad midi controller and I think it's harder programing the beats than playing them on the drums. I really doubt you can even compare to Jimmy tamberello's programing. It IS an electronica band, so their gonna have a drum machine.

@aPaThEiSt shit, set theory eh. that sounds too complicated for us youtube users to understand......... you're wrong in thinking that electronic drums are less artistic and beautiful. what they allow for, is someone who has an idea in their head, whatever that sound may be, to play it. you're not confined by the usual hi-hat snare patterns of rock. you're not confined to playing any typical sounds at all. you can do whatever you want, and so from an artistic perspective, they're much better.
