This is for Jonah, and for anyone else who has been, or is being bullied.

    adam !!

  • Based on another vid this kid did later called "(HAI DAIR) Was Jonah Mowry lying? You decide.", some people are saying his original video was a fake... I don't think so, but even if it was: it went viral, it got a ton of attention and a lot of responses, including yours, well done.

  • I'm so proud to have you as a friend, Matthew. I love you lots.

  • Fabulous Matthew, I'm so proud to a part of your world!

  • this is a great video Matthew, and 'it gets better' is such an important message that should be spread. if you ever see a noisey red cbr600rr or old purple(ish) er5 riding through London (white & black lid with my logo on the back), you'll have to give me a wave! You're really inspiring myself, Jamie (evilnunmit) and Matt (houtlmac) towards our next big bike adventure next spring. take care. Oli.

  • Bullying often hits the buttons we have - our insecurities, maybe our lack of self-worth, and self-esteem - and it hurts because part of us believes the things they say. Your answer here is inspiring because you chose not to let them get to you, you got stronger inside and it paid off. Yes @agun17 getting better requires courage and strength. I think it helps if you can find a few real friends who can support you and remind you that you're worth it.

Thanks for sharing your story, Matthew.

  • It get's better... sometimes. Other times you aren't good at school, you drop out, you can't find a job because the economy sucks and you are too socially awkward as a cause of your bullying and then one day you realise you have started balding. Then you see your bullies in university having a great time.

It can get better but it requires tremendous ammounts of courage, motivation and time which many people simply don't have. It's certainly not something that will happen on it's own.

  • Nicely done Matt, I have not been bullied but I sensed this opened old wounds for you which were palpable. You are a friendly, personable, successful individual which makes this an extremely powerful reminder to those that are bullied that they have so much potential and all experiences are transient.

  • Very moving. Well done Matt, Im sure it will help someone. Thank you for sharing your story.
