Thank you very much! The song is called "The Gift," and the artists are Jim Brickman (piano) and Susan Ashton and Collin Raye (vocals). It is featured on Jim Brickman's 1997 Christmas CD The Gift (which is where I got the version I used here from), and on two of his other albums, Greatest Hits (2004) and Visions of Love (1998), so it's probably available at iTunes too.
