Got to drive one of these cars back in 86, didn't think it was going to be all that fast. First red light I came to, thought I'd see what it could do.Gave it half pedal and nothing, till I mashed it to the floor.My head snapped back against the head rest and by the time I was able to pull my head down to look at the speedo, I was doing 70 in a 45 zone. Wow, even got whiplash....

thats because with an open rear the wheel that has full power spins twice as fast as normal, so if your speedo says 50 your tire is doing 100!

nice to see that its hot air =]. i got an 85 designers series t type. im restoring it. and everythings staying stock. except for the rear end. gonna swap it out for an 8.5 posi =p.
one wheel wonders do gr8 burnouts ^.^
