@mroliverstephenson i think this was before blai took over, when john smith was the labour leader and the party was in a different direction

@StephenHP62 Well that just makes the bitterness of 13 years of crap and dissappointment a tad more wrenching. I'm afraid that any future leader will know that the only thing in the way of gaining power is the long slow struggle towards universal social justice, and crowd pleasing centrist policies are the only alternative required to grab that ballot. Heres to the future...

Yes, I'd say so. John Smith was a real Labour Party man, not one of the "New Labour" Tories in sheep's clothing.

was this the direction john smith was headed before he snuffed it?

I'm sorry, is this a labour party broadcast campaigning against increased taxes. I'm suprised how the supposedly intelligent Stephen Fry cannot see the irony here.

@cuddyandhouse No way! hugh has the two best lines!

I love this. The close-pictures that make them seem incredibly evil and the make fun of that every conservative is a part of the aristocracy. Annd their performances - Wonderful!

Trouble at t'mill? Has one of t'cross-beams gone out of skew on t'treadle?
Never did quite close those loop holes did they. Those Labour Liers!
They'll be gone soon, hopefully! Great acting by Fry and Laurie, they need another show together.
